We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Dean Akio Tachibana (Mountain View, Hawaii), born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dean was loved and cherished by many people including: wife Cathy "Cat" Tachibana; daughters, Mapuana Kahoonei (Kawehi), Pohai Kelson (JR), Kristi Ann Zane and Chandele Ah Chong (Zachary); parents, Alvin Tachibana and Hazel Tachibana; and siblings, Neal Tachibana (Gail), Lynn Donohue (Tim), Todi Otsuka (Terry) and Dede Guss (Barron). Dean was also cherished by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous hanai children, nieces, nephews and cousins.
