He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Uehara of Mountain View; his son Scott Uehara (Nyssa Kushi) of Hilo; his siblings, Lillian Oshiro of Hilo, Harriet Uehara of Mountain View and Dennis Uehara of Glenwood; and his brothers-in-law, Norman Makio of Hilo and Wallace Makio (Bernadita) of Paauilo. He is also survived by grandson, niece, grandniece, aunts and cousins.
