He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Kaleoiki Paleka and Pearl Makahanaloa Paleka King; and his grandson Gary Jr. Rebbelizsa. He is survived by: his children, Naomi Rebbelizsa (Gary Sr.), Ian Kupaa Paleka, Sharlla Ann Mailelani Manner and Lenny Hank Manner; his grandchildren, Garen, Malena, Kanani, Kealii, Ikaika, Deangelo, Lenny and Elisha; his siblings, Regina Ann Galacia (John), Howard James Paleka (Ivy), Michele S. Paleka (Charlie Kaili), Joey King, Faith Maile Shaw, Karen Noelani Deguilmo (John), Sincerity Kapiolani Mirkovich and David Napihe; and his grandmothers, Elizabeth Kala Shaw and Leslyn Mililani Paleka (China Kapuras). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, many loving uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
