He is survived by: his parents, Sherri-Lynn Mendes and John "Johnny" Matteo; his siblings, Shairah-Lei Manaois-Matteo, Jayse Matteo, Anuhea Yamashita-Mendes and Po'okela Yamashita; his grandparents, David Mendes, Racquel Caires (Iokepa), John Matteo (Julie) and Darlene Matteo; his great-grandparents, Ernest Mendes (Jeanie), Charla Miguel (Harvey) and Linda Montoya; his uncle Rhiannon Cachola (Jared); his cousins, Rhian, Rhain-Deraj, Rhija, Kamahina, Rhailee, Haizley and Hoku'alohi; and his niece Rhemedie-Evergreen.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Ballard Family Mortuary-Kahului (440 Ala Makani St, Kahului, HI 96732). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ballard Family Mortuary (440 Ala Makani St, Kahului, HI 96732). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Paukukalo Hawaiian Homes Park.
