She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Courtney and Wilbur Monroe Walters (Bud); her daughter Susan Yee; and her grandchildren, Allison Burke and Ethan Klancnik.
She is survived by: her husband Emery Walters; and her daughters, Theresa Burke Melnikas, Kimberly Walters and Michelle Walters Klancnik. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
