He is survived by: his children, Maria Houghton (Thompson) of Avon, MN, Ann Thompson of Blair, NE, Sarah Brown (Doug) of Bismarck, ND and Peter Thompson (Anika) of Duluth, MN.; his wife Alice Dunn; his grandson Ben Houghton of St. Cloud; his children, Susan May (Charles) of Omaha, NE, Allison Peck (Justin) of Omaha, NE, Scott Dobberpuhl of Omaha, NE, Ian, Ryan Brown of Bismarck and Freyja Thompson of Duluth; and his sister-in-law Veronica "Ronnie" Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Tom may be directed to the Bemidji Community Food Shelf or the Knights of Columbus.
