She was predeceased by : her parents, Kermit Johnson and Marie Johnson (Payne); her husband Don Achtermann; her former life partner Gordon Hunt; her sister Amelita Johnson; and also, Mark, Hattie Achtermann and Vern Achtermann.
She is survived by : her stepchildren, Jeff Achtermann (Kati) of Austin and Jean Achtermann (Tom Sessions) of Cleveland, Ohio; her grandchildren, Emily, Will Achtermann of Texas, Garrett and Grant Culbertson of Ohio; her niece Shannon Macy of Dixon, Missouri; and her sister-in-law Marlene Achtermann of Colorado.
