Carlene Wiarda Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlene Wiarda of Ackley, Iowa, who passed away on November 30, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nolte and Viola Nolte (Freeze); and her brother Alvin Nolte. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Wiarda (Christa) and Chad Wiarda; her grandchildren, Jessica Wegner (Jesse), Jennifer Devore (Rick) and Jeremy Arends (Keily); and her great grandchildren, Ava, Ella Wegner, Olivia, Nora, Jack Devore, Delaney and Grady Arends. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, for those planning an expression of sympathy, memorials will be directed to Care Initiatives Hospice, in care of Carlene's Care Team and Washington Reformed Church of Ackley.
