She is survived by: her daughter Stefanie Abkes (Kirk) of Ackley; her siblings, Richard Ewalt (Pat) of Marshalltown, Donald Ewalt (Royla) of Marshalltown and LaDonna Runner (Brian) of Laurel; her grandchildren, Owen Abkes (Kim) and Mollie Abkes; and her great grandchildren, Jovi, Blegen and Baby Abkes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
