With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cyrus Schoonmaker II (Adel, Iowa), who passed away on July 20, 2019 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Schoonmaker and Sally Schoonmaker; and his brothers, Robert and Albert. He is survived by: his wife Ann Clare Lind; his children, Clare Ann Wing (Christian) of Marshalltown and Cyrus William of Adel; his sister Susan Sanders (Ed) of Prescott; and his nephews, Michael and James Fortin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Van Meter Educational Foundation (VMEF) at 520 1st Avenue PO Box 257, Van Meter, IA 50261.
