He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Cook and Mildred Cook (Harris); and his siblings, Richard, William "Bump", Doug and Linda Peck (Cook).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane of Adel; his children, Melody Marshall (Clarke) of Adel and Tim Cook (Linda) of Adel; and his grandchildren, Colton Marshall (Betsy) of Waukee, Carson Marshall of Waukee, Allie Cook of Des Moines and Sam Cook (Rachel) of North Carolina. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
