She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Copeland of Adel; her grandchildren, Kayden Robertson, Layna Pierce, Emmett Pierce, Peyten Robertson, Jaxon Pierce, Tayler Pierce, Travis Pierce (Whitney) and Tyler Pierce (Chelsea); her siblings, Jim, John, Joe Copeland, Sherri McDowell and Terri; her stepmother Estella Copeland; and her cousin Heather Wachendorf. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Dallas County Sheriff's office in Ellen's name.
