With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evangelene Kaye Trowbridge (Adel, Iowa), who passed away on February 27, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Ernest and Eleanor Belle Smith (Nellis); her husband Jack Edwin Trowbridge; and her nephew Daniel Smith. She is survived by: her brother Gene A. Smith (Loretta); her niece Sara Johnson (Nicholas) of Jamestown; her stepchildren, Scott Trowbridge of Juneau, Alaska and Kristi Murphy of Cincinnati, Ohio; and her close friends, Reed and April Jackson. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren; several other relatives.
