He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Challis and Ruth Viola Dwinell (Burchfield); his wife Shirley Ann Hayes; and his sister Janice. He is survived by: his children, Lou Ann Snodgrass (Bob) of Lynn Creek, MO, Lori Lea Carlon (David) of Gowrie, IA, Lynne Hire (Jory) of Nashville, TN and Lance of Iowa; and his brother Ronald Dwinell. He is also survived by his children; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Cancer Society or to a local food pantry.
