With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny A. Johnson of Adel, Iowa, who passed away on November 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Johnny departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Johnny. Though Johnny may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnson and Louise Johnson (Conelly); and his son Johnny A. Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Judy Johnson (Kirk); his daughter Kristine K. Johnson (Canney); his sister Sue Dickerson of Hollister, CA; his daughter Kristy Canney (Tim) of Adel, IA.; and his granddaughters, Katie Fyfe (Brian), Haley Vandall (Ryan) and Sydney Cheek (Josh).
