Laurie Mills Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laurie Mills (Adel, Iowa), born in Aurora, Colorado, who passed away on February 1, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Harvey Dean Hansen; her great-grandparents, Jerry and Kate Fredrichsen; her grandparents, Carl, Emelia Hansen, William and Sydna Petty; and her mother Alberta Hansen (Petty).

She is survived by: her children, Mark (Sarah), Katherine Kent (Alan) and Scott (Taylor); her grandchildren, Tate, Reese, Chloe Mills, Lily, Owen, Cole Kent, Parker and Baker Mills; and her brother Brian Hansen (Cindy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family, and will be split between Laurie's favorite local charities, Faith Lutheran Church, ovarian cancer research, and ataxia research, unless specified.
