He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Heefner and Dorothy Heefner (Miller); his sister Galeda Burkholder; his parents-in-law, Virgil and Coletta Logsdon; and his pet Sadie.
He is survived by: his wife Pat (Pat) of Adel; his children, Jeff Heefner (Jenny Purvis) of Sicklerville, James Heefner (Leosan) of Wiley, Texas, Jay Heefner of Adel and Jamie Hachmeister (Josh) of Adel; his grandson Sean Heefner of Richboro, Pennsylvania; his children, Lauren Heefner of Sicklerville, Jake, Scarlett Heefner of Wiley, Texas, Nash, Nyah, Nell and Nori Hachmeister of Adel; his brothers, Dan Heefner (Jana) of Adel and Sam Heefner (Cindy) of Hindsville, Arkansas; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Logsdon (Donna) of Anamosa and Kenny Logsdon of Marion, Iowa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Panther Creek Church of the Brethren or Wesley Life Hospice.
