She was loved and cherished by many people including: her brother Larry (Jewell) of Cedar Falls; her daughter Makayla; her husband John; and her parents, Lorin Hays and Martha Hill. She was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, she requested that donations be made in her memory to either the ALS Association or the Animal Rescue League of Des Moines.
