She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Scott and Frances Scott (Buckner). She is survived by: her husband Philip Duey of Adel; her children, Christopher Duey (Darci) of Johnston, Jennifer Covill (Christopher) of Urbandale, Stephen Duey (Marcie) of Chicago and Mathew Duey (Jessica) of Los Angeles; her grandchildren, Jack Duey, Madeline Duey, Cael Duey, Carson Duey, Paul Covill (Bridget), Alex Covill, Connor Nelson (Meghan), Quinn Covill, Sam Covill, Michael Covill, Matthew Covill, Katie Covill, Charlotte Duey, Henry Duey and Hannah Duey; and her siblings, Kathy Scott, Mary Scott, Lisa Ellis (Wayne) and Paul Scott (Janice). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ernst Funeral Home (80 NE Dartmoor Dr, Waukee, IA 50263). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
