He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Cameron and Ruth Cover Swenson; and his brother Rod Cameron. He is survived by: his wife Deb Cameron (Hunnell); his children, Craige Cameron (Stephanie) and Jessica Cameron; his grandchildren, Tyler McNeeley, David, Alexis, Cameron Jones, Alex, Henry Hunnell and Cayden Cameron; his siblings, Viki Cameron (Brian Lenz) and Gary Cameron; and his nieces and nephews, Michelle Miller and Barbie Stillings.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the New Hope Assembly of God Church (4425 70th St, Urbandale, IA 50322). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery (34024 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adel, IA 50003-3300).

Memorials in memory of Randy may be given to New Hope Assembly of God Church.
