Rose Meek Obituary
In loving memory of Rose Meek (Adel, Iowa), who departed this world on August 22, 2025 at the age of 92. Rose leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Rose shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rose farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosetta Playle Roberts and John Playle; her husband Howard Meek; and her children, Glenn Meek and Valerie Mills Meek.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Kinney Meek, Vincent Meek and Daniel Meek; and her brother John Playle of London, England.. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren with two more on the way; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
