It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steve Herynk of Adel, Iowa, born in Garnett, Kansas, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas R. Herynk and Frances Mae Herynk (Neil). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Harris; his daughters, Bobbi Perkins (Mike) of Adel and Jeri Gardner (Josh) of Stilwell, Kansas; his grandchildren, Meg, Olivia Perkins, Dawson and Emma Gardner; his sisters, Christy Lamb (Larry) of Livermore and Patti Scronce (Mike) of McHenry, Illinois; and his sister-in-law Jo Helen Sprague (Lonnie) of Kincaid, Kansas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kincaid High School Community Center or Kincaid Fair Association and left in care of the funeral home, or to the Kansas City Foundation for Pulmonary Fibrosis (KCFPF) by donating in honor of Steve directly on their website at [email protected].
