She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald Colburn and Harriett Colburn (Herman); and her brothers, Richard Colburn, Keith Colburn, Donald Allen Colburn, Jon Colburn and Matthew Colburn.

She is survived by : her daughters, Kari Anne Kennedy and Sarah Alena Kennedy; her husband Bill; and her siblings, Mark Colburn (Lynn Colburn), Sheila (Colburn), Personale (Michael Personale), Joe Colburn (Marcia Colburn), Sue Colburn, Janet Colburn and Ginny Broderick.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery (34024 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adel, IA 50003).
