We announce the death of Dennis Loury of Afton, Iowa, born in Osceola, Iowa, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his brother Kenneth Clark; his parents, Henry Leo Loury and Delilah Irene Loury; his siblings, Dale, Larry Loury, Elta May and Ermma Carnes; his grandson Jason Anderson; and his sons-in-law, Steve Blazek and Kelly Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Twyla Loury of Afton, Iowa; his daughters, Tresa Blazek (Pat Madison) of Prescott, Debbie Richardson (Tony) of Mt. Ayr, Melissa Irving (Kevin) of Afton and Rebecca McGuire (Caleb) of Afton, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Nellie Loury of Creston, Iowa. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
