He is survived by: his wife Cindy Gibson of Afton; his children, Phillip Gibson (Krista) of Abernathy, TX., Tina Blackmore (David) of Platte City, Jeff Gibson (Carrie) of Kansas City, Curtis of Lenexa, Veronica Stiens (Justin) of Prescott and Ryan Gibson (Chelsea) of Riverview, Fla.; and his brother Danny Gibson (Karen) of Merrian, Kan..
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home - Creston (601 New York Ave, Creston, IA 50801). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Salem Lutheran Church (602 W Townline St, Creston, IA 50801).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family to be determined.
