With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jon Jacobs of Akron, Iowa, who passed away on January 19, 2026 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elmo, Naomi Fletcher (Steinert), Lyle and Florence Jacobs (Anderson); his stepmother Susan Jacobs (Carter); and his uncle Robert Fletcher.
He is survived by: his father Terry Jacobs of Edina, MN; his daughter Isabella'Bella'Jacobs of Plymouth, MN; his mother Sharon Jackson (Marlyn) of Plymouth, MN; his brother Thomas Jacobs (Kelly); his children, Sloan and Flynn; and his aunts, Nancy Enstrom, Gloria Fletcher and Julie Jacobs. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Rexwinkel Funeral Home - Akron (601 Torbert Blvd, Akron, IA 51001). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
