Velma M. (Ross) Knudsen Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Ross and Laura Ross (Carmen); her husband Hans Knudsen; her grandson Heath; her son-in-law Russell Kimpson; and her siblings, Melvin'Bud'Ross, Guy'Buster'Ross Jr. and Marlys Vrana.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Kimpson of Sioux City, IA and Jolene Knudsen of Burke, SD. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rexwinkel Funeral Home - Akron (601 Torbert Blvd, Akron, IA 51001). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Riverside Cemetery.
