She is survived by: her close friend Randy Davis; her children, Andrea Selby (Steven Thomas), Tyler Selby (Abby) and Tiana Amos; her grandchildren, Meghan (Gatlin), Gunner, Nora and Evelyn; her siblings, Stanley Smith (Bernie), Cindy Sinnott, Cathy Brandt (Craig), Carol Reed (Terry), Mark Smith (Gail), Barbara Smith (Stanley) and Danny Smith (Laura); her father-in-law Jim Amos; and her siblings-in-law, Dave Amos, Lee Amos (Vicki), Deb Hannan (Kenny) and Liz Maddison (Dave). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.

A rosary was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (116 Benton Ave E, Albia, IA 52531). Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 2:15 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (730 W Benton Ave, Albia, IA 52531).

An open memorial has been established to the family to be determined at a later date.
