She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Welt and Luella Welt (Graham); her siblings, Gary Welt and Cheryl Harnden; her father-in-law Reese Thomas; and her brother-in-law Danny Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Thomas of Albia; her children, Lori Baldwin (Chris) of Ravenwood, MO and Jason Thomas (Heather) of Ankeny; her grandchildren, Tiffany Sportsman, C. J. Baldwin (Erin), Sarah Saxton (Sheldon), Emma Baldwin, Breanna Owen (Stetson), Cameron Hertzler (Samantha), Graham Thomas and Avabelle Thomas; her sister Andee (Tom Woodard); her mother-in-law Lois Thomas; and her siblings-in-law, Marla Thomas, Jean Herr (Gary) and Terry Thomas (Cricket). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, Deb's family requests that donations be made to a charitable organization of your choice in her honor.
