With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan Eloise Runyan of Albia, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Krumm and Eloise Krumm (Ryan); her in-laws, Raymond and Dorothy Runyan; and her brothers-in-law, John Ryal, Dean Barrett and Bob Barnes.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Runyan; her children, Michael Runyan II and Stacie Gibler (Mike); her grandchildren, Sara Dowdall (Morgan), Michael Runyan (Emma) and Gracie Green (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Fallon, Gibson Runyan, Cooper and Cleo Green; her sisters, Anedra Sherwood (Skeeter), Linda Ryal, Renita Meredith (Doug) and Deanna Barnes; and her sister-in-law Marianne Barrett. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
A memorial has been established to the Albia High School Trap Team.
