He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Heffron and Ann Heffron (Smith); his son Joe Heffron; and his sister Knowles. He is survived by: his wife Kareen of Patrick's Catholic Church; his son Kevin Heffron; his daughter-in-law Carol Heffron; his grandchildren, Cy Heffron (Shea) and Emma Heffron; and his siblings, Helen McDermott (Heffron) and Bob Heffron. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick's Cemetery, St. Mary's Catholic Church or the Welcome Home Soldier Monument.
