He is survived by: his sons, Michael Thompson (Julie) of Albia and Scott Thompson (Elizabeth McCurdy) of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Kyle, Doug, Jay, Anna, Alex, Meghan and Xavier; his great grandchildren, Hannah and Maeleigh; and his brother David Thompson (Donna) of St. Peter, Minnesota.
