He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Runnells (Anderson); his wife Jo Runnells; his children, Richard Runnells Jr. (Dakota Hanley), Jennifer Hornback (Mark) and Amanda Buckingham (Justin); his grandchildren, Alex, Lydia, Henry Hornback, Collin and Cadin Buckingham; and his sisters, Rhonda Strife, Sandra Stern and Becky Runnells. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
