She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Chapman and Zelma Pilkerton (Bowman); her stepfather Melvin Pilkerton; her sisters, Evelyn Ramey, Janice Teno and Judith Hackett; and her brothers-in-law, Tim Cooper and Doug Bacon.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Cooper; her children, Steve Cooper, Erik Cooper and Jenni Johnston; her grandchildren, Cora and Sean Johnston; her sisters, Eleanor Hackett and Carol McDaniel; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Cooper (Genny), Kim Bacon and Nikki Ammons (Paul). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
An open memorial has been established to the family to be determined at a later date.
