She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles LaMar and Kathryn LaMar (Coady); her husband Jim Gilland of Mary's Catholic Church; her son John Gilland; her daughters-in-law, Minnie and Sherry Gilland; and her siblings, Francis, Bernard, James, Charles LaMar, Catherine Calef, Sister Catherine LaMar (Margaret), Veronica Guelzow, Mary Gross and Marie Granatino.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Gilland, Stan Gilland (Susan), Bernie Gilland, Tony Gilland (Tamie) and Matt Gilland (Jody). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
