She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Dale Murphy and Margaret Helen Murphy (Alt). She is survived by: her son Mark Stephen of Albion; her husband Steve Leise of Albion; her daughter Pam Cummins (Shannon) of Minburn, IA; her granddaughters, Sophia Cummins of Baxter, IA and Payton Cummins of Minburn; and her siblings, Scott Murphy (Kathy) of California and Sandra Abati (Willey) of Fort Scott, KS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Iowa River Hospice in Marshalltown.
