He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnell Ellingson and Marvel Ellingson (Schroeder). He is survived by: his girlfriend Lois Klein; his children, Jason Ellingson (Amanda) of Ames, Jennie Rush (Jim) of La Vista and Chris Ellingson (Mindy) of Polk City; his grandchildren, Grace, Elle, Sam, Claire, Jack and Emily; and his sister Janaan Harding (Duane) of Alden.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the United Methodist Church - Alden (1512 Hardin St, Alden, IA 50006). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at the Alden Cemetery (15747 125th St, Alden, IA 50006).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
