He is survived by: his daughter Karen Eldridge (Don); his grandchildren, Diana Carpenter (Robert) of Webster City, David Hanus of Otho, Dwight Hanus (Amy) of Fort Dodge and Daniel Hanus (Penny) of Buford, Georgia; his son Christopher Rieks (Carolyn) of Alden; his grandchildren, Christa Henry (Michael) of Iowa Falls, Curtis Rieks of Alden and Conner Rieks of Alden; his daughter Kathryn Rieks of Cresco; his grandchild Logan Rieks of Chadron, Nebraska; his great grandchildren, Mitch Carpenter (Chelsie), Tyler Carpenter, Ashley Throntveit (Thomas), Jacob Hanus (Abby), Morgan Ladlie (Jacob), Mackenzie Hanus, Madison Hanus, David Henry, Owen Henry and Benjamin Henry; his great great grandchildren, Luke Carpenter, Claire Carpenter, Blair Throntveit, Savannah Throntveit, Ayla Ladlie, Brinley Ladlie and Joseph Hanus; his sisters, Shirley Rotgers of Eldora and Marian Hazelwood; and his siblings-in-law, James Hepperle (Betty) of Fort Dodge and Kathryn Yetmar of Clare.
