She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kastendick and Anna Kastendick; and her brothers, Norman and Marvin. She is survived by: her husband Duane; and her children, Debbie Whipple (Wade), Jeff (Sandy), Julie Fornea (Eb), Dee Dee Thomsen and Dan (Lonnie). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Surls Funeral Home - Iowa Falls (505 Stevens St, Iowa Falls, IA 50126). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church - Alden (806 Mill St, Alden, IA 50006).
