He was predeceased by : his wife Maxine Barbara Laughlin; his son Joseph; his parents, Herman Jass and Alice Jass; his siblings, William, Harm Jass, Margaret Block and Anna Jass; and his son-in-law Jeffrey Reilly.
He is survived by : his daughters, Carol Boehmler (Brook) of Mason City, IA, Susan Reilly of Iowa Falls, IA and Linda Jass of Boulder, CO; and his siblings-in-law, Jill Fraser (Don) of Buckeye, IA, Dean Block of Webster City, IA and Mike Laughlin (Laurie) of Bronson, IA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
