He was predeceased by: his parents, Rick Ernst and Lori Ernst (Ohl); his grandparents, Robert, Vicki Ernst and Leslie Ohl; and his uncles, Brad Ohl, Merlin Bliss, Duane Schommer and Don Reisner.
He is survived by: his brother Chris Ernst (Aunna); his nieces and nephews, Hunter and Adeline Ernst; his grandmother Betty Ohl; and his aunts, Dana Meyers (Dave), Denise Ballo (Mark), Cheryl Ohl, Connie Bliss, Bev Schommer and Deb Reisner. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Geilenfeld-Buehner Funeral Home (309 1st Ave NE, Oelwein, IA 50662). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
