Norman left this world on October 25, 2024 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Barkema and Verla Barkema of Alexander; his grandson Colton; his siblings-in-law, Cheryl and Sivam; and his in-laws, Mary and Fred Gentz.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his sons, Michel (Patrick) and Doug (Summer); his grandchildren, Aaron Gude, Norah Barkema and Quinn Barkema; and his siblings, Marjorie, Dorothy, Donald and Duane (Diane). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
