With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andrew Burnett (Algona, Iowa), born in Fairmont, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2026 at the age of 42. He was predeceased by: his parents, JoAnn Payne and Bernie Burnett Sr.; his siblings, James Burnett and Debbie Burnett; and his brother-in-law Steve McQueen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bernie Burnett Jr. of Algona, Janet Johnson of Spring Valley, Wisconsin, Michelle DeVary (Bobby) of Dolliver, Becky Menke (Ron Nohrenberg) of Whittemore and Billi Jo McQueen (Anthony Diaz) of Livermore; and his close friends, Schyler Morse (Alisa), Nick Symonds (Milissa Orr) and Annita Anderson (Ceasar Limon). He is also survived by seven nieces, two nephews, three great-nephews, and eight great-nieces.
