With sadness, we share the passing of David L. Parsons (Algona, Iowa). David, born on January 16, 1969, passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Parsons and Lorraine Parsons (Stone); his grandson Zakk Mitchell; and his siblings, Trudy, Karla, Pat and Chuck.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie of Lu Verne; his children, Andy Parsons (Kerry) of Livermore, Becca Parsons (Ashlyn) of Algona, Maddy Mehsikomer (Josh) of Algona, Eli Parsons of Des Moines, Matt Fankell (Jasmine Leners) of Algona, Cyndi Mitchell (Dan) of Elliott and Bruce Parsons (Christiann) of Council Bluffs; his grandchildren, Colton, Josie Parsons, Draven Mitchell, Teagan, Kahylan and Cieva Parsons; and his siblings, Pete Pacleb (Michelle) of Kentucky, Rhonda Kuttnick of Clear Lake, Terry Parsons (Sherri) of Burt, Rick Parsons (Mary) of Minnesota and Sam Parsons of Des Moines. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oakcrest Funeral Services (218 S Moore St, Algona, IA 50511). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Oakcrest Funeral Services - Algona (218 S Moore St, Algona, IA 50511).
