She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Winter and Erma Mildred Winter (Pavey); her husband Dick; her son Steven; and her sister Gwen Gouge (Robert).
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Monson (Ron) of Irvington, Betty Fiddler (Gary) of Estherville and Sue Hanson (Craig) of Laurens. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lentz Funeral Home (403 E McGregor St, Algona, IA 50511). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Divine Mercy Catholic Parish - St. Cecelia (715 E North St, Algona, IA 50511).
