With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred McPherson of Algona, Iowa, born in Hawarden, Iowa, who passed away on May 29, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William McPherson and Jessie McPherson (Jager); his daughter Kathy Moeller; his granddaughter Madison Fraker; and his siblings, Genevieve McMillan, Dorothy Harvey, Alma DeJong, James, Milo, Donald, Raymond, Mike and Bruce McPherson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Harvey of Akron, IA.; his children, Deb Gregerson (Randy), Terry McPherson, Scott McPherson (Clarice Steinbach) and Angie Fraker (Chris); his son-in-law Roger Moeller (Carlisle); his grandchildren, Micah Moeller (Kelsey), Colton Moeller, Tyler McPherson, Morgan and Alayna Fraker; his great grandchildren, Milo and Riley; and his sisters-in-law, Darlene, Vivian and Barb.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed to the Prince of Peace, Organ Fund.
