George Mack Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Mack of Algona, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Martin and Mildred Mack (Ruth); his siblings, Ruth, Mark, Daniel, Esther, Grace, Mildred and Eunice; his stepchildren, Donald Nagel and Patty Sorensen; his stepgrandson Mathew Herzberg; and his stepson-in-law Michael Koncilia.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Anderson; his stepchildren, Sue Herzberg (Terry), Cathy Koncilia, Annette Stone, Tony Stone (Lanette), Michelle Stone and Kathy Frideres; and his niece Helen August (John). He is also survived by 9 step grandchildren; 17 step great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in George's name and directed to Concordia Seminary, 801 Seminary Pl, St. Louis, MO 63105 to support seminary students.
