She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Mertz (Steve) of Robbinsdale and Lynn Wolter (Ernie) of Algona; and her grandchildren, Amanda Solberg of Mindy Frideres, E. J, Wolter, Nicole Mertz, Jessica Gulley, Sarah Mertz, Amber Traub, Adam Cook and Jill Mertz. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
