She is survived by: her grandchildren, Denny and JoAnn; her husband Dennis Johansen; her daughters, Christine Reiter-Klein (Brian), Carly Prior (Mike) and Chealsey Lynch (Kevin); her nephew Chad Hix; her grandchildren, Evan Reiter, Kainan Reiter, Gavin Prior, Grant Prior, Olivia Reiter, Sam Hix and Kelly Reiter; her siblings, Sharon Marty (Doug), George Hix (Cindy), Duane Hix (Sandy) and Janett Kline (Michael); and her brother-in-law David Johansen (Jeanie).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Joann's name to Kossuth County Cancer or Hospice of the Heartland.
