We bid farewell to Joseph L. Rahm (Algona, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 11, 2025 at the age of 91. Joseph touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Magnus Rahm and Rosalia Rahm (Neuroth); his wife Sondra Elbert; his children, Joseph Michael and Kathryn Jo; his grandson Kellen Rahm; his great grandchild Collin Rahm; and his siblings, Patrick, William Rahm, Marilyn Arndorfer and Diane Holmes.
He is survived by: his children, Chris (Coleen) of St. Benedict, Geralyn (Andy Reising) of Wesley, Greg of Wesley, Mark (Linda) of Mason City, Pat (Deb) of Wesley, Nick (Penny) of Lone Rock, Noel of St. Benedict, Sarah (Gary Miller) of Algona and Tony (Sherry) of Algona; and his siblings, Michael Rahm and Judy Rahm. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 74 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bishop Garrigan Chapel (1224 N McCoy St, Algona, IA 50511). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish ~ St. Cecelia (715 E North St, Algona, IA 50511).
